After many years of imagining, planning, designing and destroying, the IVAM surroundings had their awakening and of course, needed a good breakfast. A Breakfast with a lot of people.
So, one Saturday, the very special Saturday of 14 February 2015, it happened. The IVAM backyard was invaded by humans that met up and had a delicious coffee together.
The ugly grey party wall is no longer so ugly. There is something more behind this fence and we should pass it, said the humans. The empty space of almost 3.000 sq.m. that has been waiting so long for attention and caress seeing so many people fell in love at first sight with them. This casual encounter for the humans was also a moment of affection feeling the warmth embrace of the backyard.
We will see how this love evolves, will there be more lovers´ dates? Who knows?

And this space is in fact, not really a backyard, but the empty plot ready for the prospective extension, that is still far in the future or in the imagination.
P.S. In the end of 2015 the IVAM opened the debate of what to do with the plot, that was so attractive that people couldn´t help standing far from it. I think this love story is going on...
